We ensure that our meal are full of flavour by using the freshest and best quality ingredients that we can source, organic from our own garden where possible. We hand-prepare and cook the meals (no machines for us) then freeze them to seal the goodness in.

All our meals are 400g of handcrafted food including sides (so you don’t have to order mains and sides, just one meal) to satisfy your taste and appetite and help you lead a healthy lifestyle.

We have reduced fats, sugars and salt to make our meals healthier but feel free to add salt to suit your taste. Our meals are free of Additives, Flavourants, Colourants and Preservatives

By using fresh vegetables , good proteins, legumes and grains as natural nutrition and fibre sources we help ensure that your diet is healthy aiding you achieve your health and fitness goals.

We are fully aware of the pressures of modern living and the difficulty of providing good food for you and yours. Work and travel take up a large proportion of our time and together with the other requirements of modern living leave little time for the preparation of good nutritious meals for you and your partner or family, especially if you both work. You need to think ahead to what you want to eat tonight , tomorrow etc. shop for the ingredients , lug them home then spend hours preparing then cooking the meal in a  hurry, often forgetting an essential item. You need a large stock of food basics in the kitchen/fridge and constantly have to ditch expired ingredients or food so your wastage and costs go up whist your spare time goes down. A real pain especially if there is only one of you and no surprise if your diet goes out the window. In today’s world it is too easy to stop off at the take-away or supermarket to grab a ready meal and forget about what it is doing for your health and waistline.

We’ve considered the challenges facing the busy profession of today and designed a range of meals using high quality proteins, vegetables, carbs, good fats and fibre to bring you balanced, nutritious and tasty meals that are good for you. We’ve reduced excessive sugars, fats and ultra processed ingredients and don’t include additives, colourants, flavourants or preservatives as most retailers do.

 When you are looking for easy convenient meals that are good for your body we’ve got lots of choice for you. All our meals are complete meals of the casserole/one pot style or of the main with a side type. We have a choice of sides as, for example, a couple may like Goulash but one likes it with Mash and one prefers  rice so we’ve made it easy for you and given you a choice of up to 12 different sides. Our meals are portion-controlled and made specifically for you so there is no wastage of ingredients or finished meals saving you time and money, giving you a welcome break in your busy lifestyle and some spare time. Once you place your order your meals are prepared specifically for you, frozen and delivered to you, to stock your freezer. Now your hardest work is deciding what you would like for lunch or dinner, taking it out of the freezer, defrosting, heating and serving it. Feel free to email any special requests.

We make dishes the old fashioned way with the original, real ingredients like butter and cream that make the meals taste good just like your Grandma did. Our meals are hand made in a kitchen  by humans and not by machines in a factory.

We keep to the original tastes but haven’t gone overboard on the fats and sugars in deference to your healthy diet. Our meals are made with quality meats and proteins together with fresh vegetables, grains, legumes, herbs and spices for balanced nutrition

Weight loss menu

Our meals are designed to help you lose weight as part of a controlled diet. Using our meals for lunch and dinner together with a healthy breakfast and snacks to suit your diet will help you lose weight and assist you to reach your goals. Our weight loss menu meals suit Low Carb, Low Calorie, Mediterranean and intermittent fasting diet plans but unfortunately NOT ultra low carb diets like Keto. So almost whatever diet programme you are on we can help take the guesswork out. We have reduced the fats, sugars, high carb and high calorie ingredients. The nutrition details for each each meal are shown when you select the meal on the menu page so you can pick whichever meal suits your taste and diet plan.

When we were designing and testing the meals I put my (overweight) husband on a mixed low carb/low calorie diet and by giving him the weight loss meals for lunch and dinner together with suitable snacks and a healthy high fibre and low GI breakfast he lost 40kg. He continues with this easy lifestyle change in his eating habits and hasn’t regained the weight he lost three years ago. Our Plant-based menu includes both Vegetarian and Vegan meals which, as with our other menus both taste good and do you good. For your heart health we use legumes, brown basmati rice and vegetables to lower the glycaemic index and reduce cholesterol levels whilst increasing the fibre content of the meals. A plant-based diet reduces the risk for type 2 diabetes.

People eat vegetarian and vegan meals for many reasons including health, religious convictions, concern for animal welfare or to reduce excessive use of the planet’s resources. For whatever reason there are many benefits from a properly planned Vegetarian or Vegan diet. Vegetarians tend to consume less saturated fat and cholesterol and more vitamins C and E, dietary fibre, folic acid, potassium, magnesium and plant chemicals such as carotenoids and flavonoids resulting in lower cholesterol, lower blood pressure and lower body mass index (BMI)

snack menu

We all like sweet snacks especially my hubby. However although tasting great they aren’t always the healthiest treats, normally being full of sugar, additives, colourants, flavourants, preservatives and ultra-processed ingredients. 

Our classic muffin is made with the original ingredients of eggs, wheat flour, sugar and butter and pumpkin to provide some fibre and taste but no additives, colourants, flavourants or preservatives. Instead of preservatives they are frozen instead. They can be defrosted individually as they are about to be consumed for best results.  

For the low carb/calorie muffins our challenge was to design muffins that were sweet, tasted good and were as healthy as possible whilst reducing the fats, sugars and additives. We created low carb/calorie muffins that include eggs for protein, wheat flour for body, yoghurt to reduce the fat, stevia for its sweetness and vegetables to provide more fibre resulting in muffins that froze well and tasted good on defrosting. The muffins can be used as a snack or after a meal as a dessert. These muffins are 374-428kj (89-102 Calories) each compared to 929kj (222 Calories) for the Classic muffin. The classic muffin includes sugar and butter whilst the low calorie muffins do not. The Stevia and yoghurt helps reduce the calories to less than half of their classic equivalent. Whilst the low calorie muffins will fit into a low carb or low calorie and intermittent-fasting diets they are a little high on the carbohydrate so may not fit into your low carb diet depending on your daily carb target. You need to check on the nutrition of each muffin before you order.
