Helens Natural Foods (“Helens”, “we”, “our” or “us”) offers its clients a top quality food and delivery service as well as other products, services, promotions, discounts, offers and vouchers related thereto and provides this website and its content for your use subject to these Terms and Conditions of Service (“T&C’s”, “Agreement”). Please read these Terms and Conditions of Service carefully. Your use of our site and services is conditional on your acceptance and compliance with these terms and conditions of service. If you disagree with these terms and conditions or any part thereof, do not use this website.

You may use this site to browse the content and make purchases. You may NOT use this site for any other purpose. This site and the content provided in this site may not be copied, reproduced, republished, uploaded, posted, transmitted or distributed. ‘” Embedding” “Deep Linking” or use of similar technology is strictly prohibited.

The contents of this site are provided ”as is” without warranty of any kind, either expressed or implied including but not limed to warranties of merchantability and fitness for purpose. Signing up for this service means that you not only agree to the terms and conditions, but also that you agree to provide the following information to us, which will be used for the delivery of our products to you.

  • Your home address, including the postal code
  • The delivery address for your order
  • Your home telephone number, and an additional contact number
  • Your email address so that we can send important information including confirmation of order and any changes to our delivery procedure.

Helens Natural foods shall not, under any circumstances be liable for any direct or indirect claims, damages, or actions arising from, or related to your account. Helens Natural Foods provides no guaranties or warrantees regarding the action of any user. You hereby release Helens Natural foods from the actions of any user operating under your account and any failure on the part of such user to protect the confidentiality, integrity or security of your user content.

You will receive notifications confirming your orders placed, please take time to check these and contact us if anything is incorrect.

Product Prices and Availability

The product price quoted on the website at the time of placing your order shall be the price charged to you. Excluding any inadvertent technical errors or glitches we will honour any prices as published at the time of placing your order.

We have the right to change the price of any product at any time, please check before placing an order.

It doesn’t happen often but we may need to change ingredients in a recipe due to seasonal availability or shortages. Should this be necessary suitable alternatives will be used.

Payment Options Accepted

 All transactions will be processed in South African Rands (ZAR).

  • Credit/Debit Card – We accept MasterCard and Visa Credit Cards as well as most Debit Cards. Payments are made through YOCO’s Payment Gateway. Helens Natural Foods will hold the customer’s personal details, separate to the card details which will be held by YOCO. YOCO use the strictest form of encryption, namely Secure Socket Layer 3 (SSL3) and no card details are stored on Helens Naturals Foods website.   • EFT Payments through electronic transfer may be accepted, please specify this option when you place your order. Use the unique order number in the reference line for your payment. Helens Natural Foods banks through Standard Bank so please ensure that you allow for two working days for your payment to reflect in our account as only upon receiving proof of payment will your order be accepted.
  •  Direct Deposit -You may pay for your products through a direct deposit. It’s the same as doing an EFT payment, except you’ll have to go into your bank and physically make your direct deposit there. Please email your deposit slip to us on info@helensnaturalfoods.co.za to ensure your payment is confirmed and the order shipped as quickly as possible.

 Your Purchase

When you click to make a purchase with us legal obligations arise and your right to refund, of monies charged to your credit/debit card or paid in any other way agreed by us, are limited by our terms and conditions. You must not make any purchase from this site unless you understand and agree to our terms and conditions. Once payment is made for the purchase, it is deemed that you have read and understood the terms and conditions for such a purchase. If you have any queries, please contact us before making any purchase of any service through this website.

Deliveries

Orders placed before 4pm on a Friday will be delivered the following week. Johannesburg deliveries will take place on the following Wednesday and Thursday, whilst deliveries to Pretoria will take place on the following Friday. Deliveries will take place between 9am and 4pm.

Please ensure that the correct delivery address is provided as title and risk will pass to you once the order has left our premises. An email will be sent out regarding the delivery date. If the customer does not respond with 12 hours of such communication, we take it that they have agreed to the date. If the customer accepts the delivery date and is not available at the address on that date, we may charge an additional delivery fee to re-deliver.

Helens Natural Foods tries to accommodate special delivery requests although we may not always be able to. We ask that special delivery instructions must be reasonable and we are more than willing to try to follow these to ensure that your order gets to you in the best condition.

Time and day of delivery may be agreed upon by you, the customer and us at Helens Natural Foods, at a time which best suits both of us. You can specify a delivery time upon ordering and we will contact you if this time is unsuitable.

Upon failure to make a delivery, the driver will attempt to contact you to make alternative arrangements. If this fails as well, your order will be returned to Helens Natural Foods and delivery attempted during the next delivery to your area.

Helens Natural Foods reserves the right to change the time of delivery at any stage, and will not be held liable for any deliveries that are late or not delivered on the agreed day. In these circumstances we will try our utmost to contact you and inform you of any changes and arrange another delivery, on the contact number you have given.

In the case of weather which inhibits the ability to make safe deliveries, or any other events beyond our control that interfere with our ability to deliver your order, we will attempt to deliver your order as soon as reasonably possible. In some cases, delivery may occur on a date other than your scheduled delivery day. If the delivery of your order is not feasible, we will cancel your delivery for the period so affected and issue you a credit, as determined in our sole discretion or refund a part or the whole of the purchase price for the order affected. Disclaimer

Before consuming any products from Helens Natural Foods it is important to note that our meals are made in a kitchen that makes a variety of dishes that include the major allergens of Egg, Dairy, Fish, Peanuts, Shellfish, Soy, Treenuts and Wheat as well as other allergens. You understand and acknowledge that we store, portion, prepare and package these products and whilst Hellen’s Natural Foods takes precautions to limit any cross contamination, cross contamination could occur between food products and the meals supplied could include some or all of the allergens listed. You are solely responsible for knowing of any allergies that you are subject to and for ensuring that the food that you consume does not contain ingredients that you are allergic to. If you have a serious allergy we advise you not to purchase from Helens Natural Foods as we cannot guarantee the absence of these ingredients from our products.

Helens Natural Foods does not represent or warrant that the nutritional, ingredient, allergen or other product information is accurate or complete since this information is calculated from the input weights of the various ingredients whose nutritional content is supplied by the ingredient  manufacturers or in the case of the fresh ingredients is available in generic form from freely available South African data sources.

Cancelling an Order

Orders can be cancelled up until 48 hours before the order is dispatched for delivery.

As we are suppliers of perishable goods, we do not accept any return of unwanted goods.

Dissatisfaction

 If you are unhappy with any part of your product or the service that we offer, or have suggestions, please contact us directly by emailing info@helensnaturalfoods.co.za or calling 071 231 7892.

Helen’s Natural Foods products are frozen and perishable. Please inspect your product when you receive it (before allowing it to defrost). If you find the product is not up to our quality standards, or the packaging has been damaged during delivery, please take a photo and send to us within one day of delivery, and we may refund or exchange the item for you. Please keep the product as you received it in your freezer so we can inspect it and make improvements in the future. We will not refund or exchange an item if you have eaten or defrosted it.

It is within Helens Natural Foods discretion whether we will exchange or refund the item for you, depending on each customer’s complaint and our ability to rectify it.

Helen’s Natural Foods has a policy of honesty and openness, and endeavours to give you the best product possible. We will always try our very best to rectify any problems and to take suggestions into consideration.

Variation

Helens Natural Foods may, in its sole discretion change this agreement or any part thereof at any time without notice.

Country of Domicile

This site is controlled and hosted from South Africa and therefore governed by South African law.

Consent and undertaking

I understand that all the designs and images belong to Helens Natural Foods and hereby accept the terms and conditions. I undertake not to copy or duplicate any of the designs or images directly or indirectly and understand the implications thereof. Website. Should I be found to be in violation of this agreement I understand that I will be held liable for all legal costs incurred by Helens Natural Foods for any civil or legal action deemed necessary and taken against me.
